This lesson plan allows the students t take charge of their learning. It asks them the question "What kinds of things do holidays celebrate?" and then allows them to explore the question themselves. Then finally, at the end it lets them come up with a creative presentation to show what they've learned.

Production tools, such as the book creator, allows students to demonstrate the things they have learned through a creative means. Production tools can allow students to collaborate on a finished product that they can share with their peers and parents.

Kahoot is a great online tool that engages students in assessing what they already know or have learned. This creates engaging online reviews over topics students have been learning in class. It is a diverse tool that can be used in all subjects to review terms or ideas.

Hour of Code introduces kids to coding through activities that interest students because it uses characters and worlds that the students already know and love. Hour of code utilizes engaging games to lead the students into coming up with creative and unique solutions to the problem they are presented with while also giving them base skills they can apply in their futures as coding has become a more prominent need.

Seesaw is an online classroom management system. It allows you to assign students homework, give the whole class updates, as well as keep the parents at home informed on what's happening in the classroom.

Hour of Code is an engaging tool not only for students but also for teachers. It can be a great introduction to coding for yourself if you've never done much coding before. Working on Hour of Code before you let your students use it would allow you to be more prepared if students struggle with it or have questions, as well as increasing your own knowledge of the online world.

Through my Twitter, I can be an example for students on how to interact with others online. Using Twitter in the classroom would enhance how students could learn about digital citizenship. It would also engage the students more by putting them in the online world already.

Pinterest is another media platform on which I can promote digital citizenship to my students. I like Pinterest because it allows you to collect and organize ideas in one space.

In this twitter chat, I participated in a conversation with teachers and educators from California about integrating technology into classrooms. This allowed me to hear the thoughts and opinions of current educators on how they effectively use different tools in their classrooms. It also started the creation of my own Personal Learning Network.

In this badge, I watched a video about plagiarism. Keeping yourself informed is the first step in keeping your students informed as well. Teaching your students about plagiarism and setting an example for them to follow, is a way to show professional leadership.
